If you have a computer that is infected with a virus, you may be able to delete the virus from the computer by using the Windows Delete Target Registry tool. This tool can be found on the Start menu and is called “Registry Editor.” To use the Registry Editor, you first need to open the “Registry Editor” folder. Inside of this folder, you will find a file called “regedit.exe.” Once you have opened the Registry Editor, you will need to create a new registry key. To do this, click on the New Key button and enter the following information into the text field: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon You can also use this same key to delete a registry value. To do this, click on the Edit button and enter the following information into the text field: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\UserData You can also use these same keys to add or remove values from a registry key.
